Where to get your clothing

Throughout a member’s time in Scouting there will inevitably be a need for various clothing and equipment suitable for the activities we offer. Below are some details for some of these. If you have any questions about any Uniform, Clothing or Equipment do speak with a leader who should be able to point you in the right direction.

Group Clothing & Accessories

Our members are encouraged to wear our Group T-Shirts, Polo Shirts and Hoodies when on trips and activities that do not require their full uniform.

All items are embroidered with the group logo on the front left and the Scout Logo in the right sleeve.

These items are made to order by a local company and can be ordered directly from our suppliers via the web shop.

Note: If you are ordering a Youth sized garment, we have heard that the sizes may run small. For example, if they usually wear size 11-12, you might want to order size 12-13.

Uniform & Scouting Accessories

Basingstoke Scouting Supplies is our local Scout Shop run by our District, Basingstoke West and our neighbours in Basingstoke East.

They can supply and advise on all items of Uniform as well as many books, accessories, casual clothing and fun badges. If they don’t happen to have the item you want in stock, they can also order it.

All profits from the shop goes directly back into local Scouting, therefore we ask that you use this shop for all uniform purchases.

Other Kit

The kit required throughout Scouting varies depending on what activities and events a member attends. The range would be far to big to cover here so here are a few places that offer discounts to members of Scouting:
